March Update – 2026

Passing of a Great Christian Woman

Ryan’s best friend growing up was Drew Waits. His grandmother, who was like a second mom to Ryan, passed away at the end of March. Ryan went down and spoke for the funeral on April 1st.

Please pray for the Waits family as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother/grandmother, Sandra.

Upcoming Speaking Engagements

Ryan will be speaking at congregations to help find prayer and financial partners God has prepared for our mission endeavor.

Assisting with the Linary Youth Ministry

Linary has agreed to terms with a new youth minister. He will be starting in June. This timing works out great because we will be leaving sometime in early June, leaving very little gap without a youth minister. In the meantime, Ryan is leading a Spring Retreat for the Linary Youth Group, April 24th-26th, working on their senior banquet, and teaching when in town.  

Softball Season

Willow’s softball season has started. Her team so far is 2-2. Her coach is a deacon at Linary and his daughter is friends with Willow. She is loving it. She is trying to soak up as much of the fun as possible, since softball/baseball is not very common in Thailand.

Fundraising Update

We received the tuition assistance decision from the girl’s school in Thailand. They were very generous, but they request that the exact details of the decision are kept private. We had estimated to get some discount but thank the Lord they were more generous than we had estimated. So, our overall goal now is $5700 monthly and $67,000 one-time costs. As of the end of April 1st, we have $960 (17% of the goal) monthly and $8759 (13% of the goal) one-time pledged. We do have several who have said they would give without telling us a specific amount yet. Please be prayerfully considering partnering with us financially so that we can reach out goal.

Our plan is to move in June. Ideally, monthly giving would begin May or June – if you have pledged to give monthly, please begin your giving June 1st at the latest.
